We are in the business of making people smile. We do it by empowering people through providing them skills that make them feel powerful and skillful. All the faces you see are of students who learn computer at our Phidim center for free. From never having touched a computer they are now able to do presentations, do normal accounting in Google sheets, Use Google docs to make documents and even do normal graphic design. We let members take the laptops home in the evenings and in holidays so that they can practice even more and also be able to break taboos about girls and boys being restricted to the laborious and household works.

At @nepalteacollective and @nepalteafoundation we carry the mission of empowerment of framers. We seek crucial ways of increasing the income of small holder farmers. One thing the small farmers have a lot is time, bamboo and determination. This is why we conducted a training last week, and now we supported three farmers, Mr. Mohan Nembang, Mr. Ganesh Limbu and Mr. Shri Limbu with seed money to start their social business. We also aim to help them open a bank account and registering a business. Our Program Manager in Nepal. @gopalmaithil who has been trained in operating and starting social businesses in multiple institutions all over the world will monitor and guide the recipients.
We wish them for their sucess.
