Collaborative Schools Network(CSN)
Collaborative Schools Network(CSN) adopts and manages existing public (government funded) schools in Nepal and transforms the quality of education they provide to some of the country’s poorest children.
Their model achieves systemic, scalable and sustainable change because they work within the existing public education system, alongside the government and at a low cost. CSN takes on the entire management of public schools, and appoint two ‘School Leaders’ to each school. Schools Leaders teach, coach the government teachers and lead the school improvement process. Their school improvement model focuses on improving the quality of teaching, management, parent relations and infrastructure.
CSN’s aim is not just to improve a few schools, but to transform the public education sector in Nepal, by proving that public schools can be successful with the right support.
Kanchanjangha Tea Estate & Research Centre (KTE)
Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center is the first certified tea garden in Nepal. Most of our empowerment projects, including but not limited to cow bank project, thrift store project, eco-house project, serve the community that has been built around KTE. We rely on KTE for on-the-ground support and execution of the projects.
